Reporting to the Service Manager, the incumbent is responsible for providing technical support on our compressed air products to our in-house team (representatives and technicians) and our distributors.
After Sale Support Advisor
Main functions
- Provide after-sales technical support to our internal team and our distributors;
- Check and approve the start-ups and installations of our customers;
- Act as a technical specialist for a range of products;
- Manage warranties (receive distributors' requests, analyze them and recommend a decision);
- Maintain technical documentation, ensure communication and distribution of updates;
- Provide training on after-sales service. Introduce participants to the technical concepts and fundamental principles relating to the maintenance and operation of compressed air systems as required in the performance of their duties.
Job requirements
- Diploma in technical studies in electrical or mechanical field or equivalent experience;
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience;
- Have extensive technical knowledge or equivalent experience;
- Knowledge of the compressed air industry and related applications (pneumatic and / or hydraulic);
- Must be very comfortable with computers (Microsoft Office, SAP);
- Essential bilingualism, speaking and writing (French and English, 80% of the clientele is English-speaking);
- Availability to travel occasionally across Canada;
- Availability to make service calls outside of normal business hours.
