Mission 
 
Reporting to the Application Engineering Manager, the incumbent is responsible for projects concerning various activities related to Canadian application engineering and also performs technical representation tasks for KAESER Canada.

Main tasks

Application engineering

-Conduct comparative studies to pinpoin
- Plan air demand analysis (ADA) for customer, interpret the results (KESS) and suggests appropriate solutions;
- Acts as the first responder in solving technical application problems;
- Approve technical revisions of all bids and system orders to ensure that these changes effectively meet client requirements;
- Provides technical advice to the sales team and Canadian distributors in order to upgrade or add value to the quotations presented to customers;
- Manages all activities related to the development of technical solutions offered to Canadian users, customers and distributors; t KAESER best technical characteristics against the competition;
-Programing and troubleshooting of the SAM 4.0 master controller for the efficient operations of the compressed air systems;
-All other related tasks.

Product marketing

-Coordinate new product introduction including standardization and obsolescence. 

Training and technical representation

-Manage training programs offered to customers (along with HR department);
-Introduce compressed air systems technical concepts and fundamentals to KAESER personnel when needed for their position;
-Ensure technical representation of KAESER Canada in trade shows, professional association or other events.

Other responsibilities and tasks

-Ensure the application and compliance with policies and procedures in force in the company;
-Contribute to the success of his department and the organization;
-Contribute to fulfilling the mission of KAESER Compressors Canada Inc.;
-If necessary, assume the replacement of colleagues in other positions.

 

Job requirements

- A bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent experience
- Member or eligible to join the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
- 5 years of relevant experience
- Excellent knowledge of French and English languages
- General knowledge of computer science
- Knowledge of drawing software such as Solid Edge CAD
- Knowledge of compressed air systems is an important asset
- Availability to travel occasionally across Canada
