Evolution of the proven design: The latest generation SM series rotary screw compressors are equipped with the new SIGMA 06 airend for even greater intake volume and efficiency, and feature further-refined SIGMA PROFILE rotors. The result? Up to 13 percent reduced energy requirement. The internal SIGMA CONTROL 2 compressor controller is also another key energy-efficiency component.

IE4 motors are used for the SM 13/16 models, whilst the SM 10 is equipped with an IE3 motor. KAESER Kompressoren has been using IE4 motors for a number of years now and therefore more than meets the requirements of the currently valid IEC 60034-30 standard.
